This page provides information on a set of archaeological sites open to visitors, which were selected for their conservation status, historical and cultural importance and landscape setting. 

The selection of these archaeological sites opted for those with good access, available information on site, the existence of suport facilities, and a symetrical dispersion throughout mainland Portugal.

This work was carried out under the Project ARQUEOSIA – Modernisation of Digital Archeological Services, funded by Portugal 2020 within the SIMPLEX+ 2018 and 2019 Programme.
